Medical massages
A medical massage is used when something in the body is out of balance. For my treatments, I choose the technique that is best suited to alleviating the individual complaints of my patients.
From medical massages such as connective tissue and foot reflexology massages, lymphatic drainage and hydrotherapy to classic massages, I offer a wide range of treatments in my practice in Zurich. Find out more about my massage techniques and book your appointment online. I look forward to welcoming you to my practice!

Place of power: Labyrinth
Besides tight work schedules, children, hobbies, household and leisure plans, one of my patients' most frequently mentioned longings is time for nothing. Time - all for yourself, in which there only exists what is and wants to be there.
The labyrinth shape invites us to meditate on this. Nowadays it is a great challenge for a woman to feel like a true goddess. And this is exactly where the state of BEING leads us. A labyrinth has been laid out on Grossmünsterplatz. I invite everyone to try it out before or after a treatment with me:
Walk in and out of the labyrinth once in equal steps. It takes about 5 minutes to anchor this simple symbol and is worth a physical experience.
Connective tissue massage
The connective tissue massage (BGM) was discovered by Dr Hede Leube and Elisabeth Dicke. To this day, this method is successfully used to treat chronic pain and to stimulate the autonomic nervous system, as well as for the reflexive treatment of organs.
Connective tissue massage is one of my most frequently used methods and experience has shown it to be extremely effective, producing a balancing and/or stimulating effect on both the muscles and the organs.
Foot reflexology
I offer foot reflexology massages according to Hanne Marquardt, my preferred method for alleviating symptoms of sinusitis, digestive problems, high mental tension, sleep problems and high blood pressure.
The treatment usually doesn't involve the use of oil and is carried out in ongoing dialogue about reactions, pressure levels and your own body perceptions.
Lymphatic drainage
Do you feel heaviness in your legs after a long day at work and/or do you find it difficult to fit into your jeans or shoes? These may be signs that your lymphatic system can't keep up with your everyday demands.
As there are various possible causes for imbalances in the lymphatic system, we first analyse the possible causes in a anamnesis consultation and will then work out how we can achieve the desired improvement of your symptoms by combining exercise, compression and lymphatic drainage.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the general term for a treatment method that is mainly carried out with water. Water is an incredibly versatile and yet very gentle element. As a heat carrier or as a cold, cooling component, water produces a stimulating effect, whether in the form of washes, casts or as a water bath for warming a fango mud pack.
Classic massage
Muscular tension can be caused by long working days in a seated position, lack of exercise in your daily work routine, imbalances in the posture and musculoskeletal system or incorrect strain and generally through high levels of stress.
I use classic Swedish stroking (effleurage), twisting (petrissage), tapping (tapotage) and targeted circulation massage techniques on the muscles (frictions) to create more length, relaxation and regeneration in your muscles. The effect of the classic massage is further enhanced by the warmth of fango mud packs.
Trigger point treatment
The term muscle tone refers to a state of tension in a muscle or muscle group. The typical symptoms of muscle tension are dull or pulling pain, which can radiate to other muscle groups or parts of the body (e.g. tension headaches).
During a trigger point treatment, I examine the pressure pain at certain points according to intensity and linger on them using a targeted pressure technique until a feeling of release arises in the muscle.
Scar treatment
Sometimes the scars on our skin are the underlying cause of pain, muscular tension or other feelings of tightness. Scar treatment takes into account the energy flow and the tissue. The scar site and the surrounding tissue are particularly susceptible to pain in times of high tension.
Through one or more treatments, energetic and physical tension is released from the scar and the surrounding tissue. This allows a uniform flow of energy to be restored.
Pregnancy massage
It is a very special passion for me to massage, support and accompany pregnant women and to be part of the growth of the belly, as well as to provide relaxation and relief.
Whether it is discomfort in the lower back caused by an increased stretching of the pelvis, a change in weight distribution due to the growing belly, morning sickness or oedema in the hands and/or feet, it gives me great joy to meet you exactly where you are.
Special: Baby-mum-massage
Women often only book a massage with me again a few months after giving birth and then often say: "I actually wanted to come way earlier!". The most common reason is usually the organisation around the baby.
For this reason, and because I am always deeply moved when I encounter newborns, I offer mums the opportunity to bring their baby to my practice. To ensure that you get your money's worth in this special setting, I recommend that you contact me in prior to your appointment.
Special: Postnatal massage
in your home
Giving birth, breastfeeding and ongoing sleeplessness create completely new, unfamiliar physical challenges. The physical aftermath of childbirth is very individual, and as a new mommy you long for the security of your own home during this time.
I have been treating and supporting women during and after birth for over three years with great joy and passion. For this delicate and extraordinary phase of life, I offer postnatal massages as a home visit on personal request.
